I was surfing today and came across this blog posting that I really wanted to share with you. It’s on a blog I have been “lurking” on for a little while (Please forgive me Nat). After reading it, I just knew I had to share it with you. The blog is called “Nat, Matt and All That“.
“The Talk”
I had the “talk” with Evan today. No, I didn’t tell him about the birds and bees, although that conversation is coming soon, I’m sure. Matt’s in charge of that one.
Today I told Evan that he has Asperger’s Syndrome.

I’m so honored that you shared our story. Parenting a child with an ASD is not easy, but being Evan’s mom has been an honor, a joy and an incredible learning experience about myself and other people.
